World Children's Day
World Children’s Day was celebrated on 20th November to promote and celebrate children's rights around the world. It was a day to remind us that every child has the right to be heard, to be treated fairly, and to have the opportunity to reach their full potential. This special day linked to several important rights from the UNICEF Rights of the Child, including:
- Article 12: The right for children to express their views freely and have them listened to.
- Article 31: The right to relax, play, and take part in cultural activities.
- Article 28: The right to education.
To mark this occasion, we celebrated with a fantastic Talent Show, where students showcased their unique talents and skills. This event allowed our children to shine, express themselves, and be celebrated for who they were, while highlighting the importance of their rights and voices in our school community. It was a wonderful afternoon which included dance, music, singing, gymnastics, stand up comedy and much more!
