World Maths Day 2019
World Maths Day
Wednesday 16th October 2019
For World Maths day this year, the children explored and enjoyed a range of Maths activities with a focus on shapes. Each year group looked at a different aspect of shape and linked it to other areas of the curriculum such as art.
World Maths Day was established in 2007 and has grown exponentially each year. It is and always will be a free, all-inclusive event for schools and students around the world to participate in. The best thing about World Maths Day is that you don’t have to be a maths whiz to get involved. World Maths Day is designed for students of all ages and all levels of ability. Students are encouraged to ‘have a go’ and have fun learning and practising their maths.
Below are some of the examples of work and pictures of our fun filled maths day.
