Accessibility Plan
Accessibility at Sacred Heart
At Sacred Heart Primary School, we believe that accessibility is fundamental to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive. It ensures that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), are able to fully access the curriculum, participate in school life, and achieve their individual potential.
We are committed to removing barriers to learning through careful planning, high-quality teaching, and appropriate adaptations to meet individual needs. This may include differentiated resources, tailored teaching approaches, use of specialist equipment, and adjustments to the classroom or wider school environment where necessary.
Accessibility at Sacred Heart also extends to communication and partnership with families, ensuring that information is shared clearly and in a way that is accessible and meaningful. We work closely with parents, carers and external professionals to ensure that support is consistent and effective.
By promoting accessibility across all aspects of school life, we ensure that every child is valued, included, and able to participate fully in the Sacred Heart community.
