My Name is Wayne McDonald
I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Support Worker here at Sacred Heart Primary School.
I have a wealth of knowledge in supporting children and families not only in Sandwell but surrounding local authorities. I have worked in and alongside schools for over twenty years, working in Tipton for around ten of those years. I am dedicated to getting the best outcomes for our families and can support in a variety of ways.
Housing applications, homelessness, benefits, budgeting, children's behaviours, sleeping, referrals to other agencies, foodbanks, clothing, bereavement and loss, just to name a few.
I will also signpost our families to activities going on throughout the year in our local community and surrounding areas and these will be uploaded to the school website.
We all go through difficult times at some point in our life and that's my role to support you through those difficult periods with the support of other services and agencies as required.

Food Pantry Murray Hall
Rather than operating like a traditional food bank the Food Pantry operates on a subscription model where participants contribute £5.00 a week in return for around £15-£20 a week worth of shopping. In return they can access the pantry which operates like a shop – participants visit and choose their own food. Please see details below of how to register as a member
