CREST Awards (2023-2024)

CREST is a nationally recognised scheme that aims to inspire young minds to think like those who specialise in STEM careers. This term, children from Year 5 have had an opportunity to take part in this wonderful way of working. To begin with, they received a pack of projects to choose from and a 'SuperStar Passport.' Each time they completed a STEM activity, they received a stamp in their passport. In order to receive the stamp of approval, they had to resource and lead the investigation as a student-led group and complete eight projects. Upon completion, they have received a CREST Award certificate from the British Science Association and a badge! We are all so proud of them!

CREST Awards (2024-2025)

If you love Science, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Last year, only Year 5 children participated, but this year, it's open to everyone! There's no time limit—the competition runs all year round. However, the first 8 children to complete any 6 of the activities in the attached booklet or on the CREST website will receive a CREST Award certificate, an iron-on badge and Dojos! After this, children will receive the certificate and Dojos. So dive into the world of science, have fun, and show us what you can achieve! 

When you've completed an activity, please share your evidence with Mrs. Iqbal. You can even have a parent or carer show me a picture on their phone—I'm happy to accept that too!
