Earth Day 2024

Earth Day!

Our planet is an amazing place, but it needs our help to thrive! That’s why each year on April 22, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation. By taking part in activities like picking up litter and planting trees, we’re making our world a happier, healthier place to live.

At school, children had fun exploring the 'Earth.' From EYFS to KS2, children had an opportunity to take part in research about our wonderful planet, watch documentaries and complete some amazing work. EYFS created a 3D globe, KS1 had a go at collages and KS2 created the water cycle on paper plates, created posters, mini story books and had a go at writing poetry.
