Homework & Reading Books:

In Year 6, homework is set in multiple ways:

- One piece of English homework each week (linked to reading or punctuation/grammar we have been learning about in class).

- One piece of Maths homework (linked to our current topic).

Homework is set on a Friday and is to be returned by the following Wednesday.  We will go through homework as a class during Maths and English.

In addition to this, please check that your child takes their reading book home every day and listen to them read as often as possible. Don't forget to record this in the reading diaries. Children must also bring their book back into school every day so that their teachers can hear them read.
