Hello! Mr Pitt-Woodcock & Miss Edwards welcome you to our Year 2 page. On this page, you will find lots of useful information, website links and examples of our work and learning. Please check regularly for updates. 

PE

Our PE days are Thursday and Friday. PE kits must be worn into school on these days. Any ear studs need to be removed before arriving to school that day, or plasters need to be provided to cover them. Please see the Uniform Policy for more information. Phonics and Reading

Reading books are given to children every week, either from their Phonics ability group or are banded beyond Phonics learning. Children have three books that they are given to support their learning at home, and to foster their love of reading inside and outside of school:

• Phonics or banded book (to take home)
• Library book chosen by the children (to take home)
• Additional coloured Phonics book to remain in their trays (not to take home)
• Oxford Owl books are also provided online by Phonics teachers (to be accessed at home)
