Year 1 have been studying the artist Wassily Kandinksy and his famous painting 'Concentric circles'.

Children developed their colour mixing skills and techniques, and applied their new knowledge to their own final piece, inspired by Kandinsky.

Year 2 have been looking at Alberto Giacometti's scupltures. 

They looked carefully at how his scultptures were made, and the details he includes. They developed their sculpting techniques usiong a variety of tools, and created a final piece influenced by Giacometti's work.
