At the start of the year, Chestnut class worked together to create our Class Charter. Our class charter focused on the Children's Rights from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child (UNCRC). We explored the rights and what they represented, then debated which of the rights we believed were the most important in school and discussed how we would honour these as rights holders and duty bearers. These decisions informed the statements on our Class Charter that you can see in the image above. This is a permanent fixture in our classroom and we all try our best to honour the agreement every single day in school.
