Recovery Curriculum

Sacred Heart Primary School has put the children’s well-being at the centre of our thinking in preparing our recovery curriculum. Our Recovery Curriculum will address the potential gaps in academic attainment with the focus on children's health and mental well-being too.

Returning to school is vital for children’s education and for their well-being. Time out of school is detrimental for children’s cognitive and academic development, particularly for disadvantaged children. This impact can affect both current levels of learning and children’s future ability to learn. With this in mind, the school community has thought about the most effective way to support your child’s ability to learn.  This approach will encompass and support the academic expectations for your child.
