TT Rockstars
TT Rockstars at Sacred Heart Primary
"Knowing your times tables off by heart is like being able to play a guitar behind your head – it makes you a rock star...a Times Table Rock Star!"
Speak to any rock legends or sports stars and they will tell you about the hours they have spent practising guitar chords and drumming riffs or aiming for goal or serving an ace. It's just the same with times tables – all wannabe rock stars and sports stars need to practise, practise, practise!
So, We say to you: "Pick up your hairbrush and your air guitar and become a times table ROCK STAR!"

Information for parents:
What is TT Rockstars?
It is a carefully sequenced programme of times tables practice which can be accessed online. Each week, teachers will set a times table to learn and practise at home using the TT Rockstars website/ app.
What are its aims?
There is only one aim - to boost times tables recall
What are the benefits of Times Table Rock Stars?
- Incorrect answers are always immediately corrected in front of the pupil so that they start to associate the correct answer to every question.
- The clever code behind the scenes works out which times table facts each pupil is consistently taking longer to answer and then it gradually starts to present these facts more frequently until pupils have mastered them.
- The programme will also ask related division questions 20% of the time in order to reinforce the relationship between division and multiplication.
- It makes learning the times tables fun!
You can find more information about TT Rockstars and how it can be used on the website:
