Learning your Timestables is an important Mathematical skill. By Year 5, all children should be able to recall their timetables up to 12 x 12. Ideally, they should be able to answer a timetable question in under 5 seconds. 

Much of the Year 5 and 6 curriculum for Maths relies on a strong knowledge of timetables so it is really important that they know them as soon as possible. 

In school we use Timetable Rockstars which your child can access at home. We encourage children to access this at least three times a week but some will need to access it more in order to catch up. When your child accesses TTRS, your teacher will get lots of data telling them how well they are performing and where their gaps are.
