Book Club Recommended Reads:

Every Friday, we have Book Club in class. Children can share books they have been reading, give recommendations and then write a short review and rating which gets displayed in your book corner. 

Here are some of the books which have been shared and can be found in our book corner or school library:

Rose Rivers by Jacqueline Wilson - Devna, Beech:

I recommend this book to people who like reading about the Victorian Times. It tells us what it was like to be a girl in Victorian Times where they couldn't go school. She learns to develop her creativity through painting and art.

The Phantom Lollipop Man! by Pamela Butchart - Lailah, Beech

I recommend this book because there is a big mystery. The book is entertaining because you have to read on to find out the answer to the mystery. The characters are also really funny!

Love Frankie by Jacqueline Wilson - Arandeep, Beech

I recommend this book because it is about how enemies become friends. Frankie is bullied by another girl in her school. She confronts her and realises why she is a bully; she helps her and then they become friends.

My Magical Life by Zach King - Ronaldo, Beech

I recommend this book to people who like magic, excitement and action. It is also a graphic which means are lots of excellent illustrations to help picture what the story is meant to be about. 

The Rainbow Magic Series by Daisy Meadows - Shana, Beech

I love any book from the Rainbow Magic series! My favourite books are the Show Fairies such as Leah the Theatre Fairy. I like them because they are full of adventure. 

Beast Quest Series by Adam Blade - La-Shae, Beech

I recommend any book from the Beast Quest series. I like them because they are about mythical beasts and there is lots action. The story is a Good vs Evil story which I like.
